Philanthropy

NOSCDC is a private, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization devoted to the support of military service personnel and their family members throughout the metro D.C. area. Each year, we provide academic scholarships to military dependents and spouses.

Using funds raised through the volunteer-run Temptations Gift Boutique, NOSCDC also donates to charitable organizations that support active duty service members, dependents, retirees, or wounded warriors with 100% of their funds.

Navy Family Scholarships by NOSCDC

The 2024 scholarship application period has ended. Scholarship recipients will be announced soon.

Check back for applications in Fall 2024.

Each year NOSCDC awards merit-based scholarships to those living in the National Capitol Region that are: 

  • dependent high school graduating seniors of an active duty, activated reservists, retired from active duty or deceased USN service member

  • spouses of active duty or activated reservists USN service members

In 2023 we distributed $12,000 in scholarships to worthy students.
